Alex Robert Ross is a writer and critic who splits his time between London and New York. He is currently a Contributing Editor at Noisey. His work has also appeared at Deadspin, Slate, Huck, Paste, and The Portland Mercury.
He graduated with an MA in Cultural Reporting and Criticism from the Arthur L Carter Institute at New York University’s School of Journalism. He was awarded the Fulbright Alistair Cooke Award in Journalism in 2015.
For some reason, his use of the word “broey”—”of, relating to, characteristic of, or suggestive of bros”—is cited in the Merriam-Webster Dictionary.
